MICROSCOPE, BALANCE AND LABORATORY INSTRUMENT SERVICING
For a fraction of what it would cost to replace your existing equipment, regular servicing can extend the life of your laboratory equipment while keeping it in excellent working condition. For the past 15 years James International Sales (Canada) Limited has offered customers reliable and dependable service on all of the products we sell. Microscopes are our specialty and we carry a full range of parts needed to repair most brands of micro- scopes used at the high school level.
Microscope Servicing:
Our service technician will come into your school, carefully examine your microscopes, adjust, lubricate and clean them. This thorough service will bring your microscopes up to excellent optical, mechanical and electrical condition. The repair work (parts and labour) is warranted for one year under regular use. A minimum of 15 units are needed at one location to send our technician to your school. Less than 15 quantities should be carefully packaged and sent to our nearest office for servicing. We service the following brands of microscopes: Kyowa, Cenco (Made by Kyowa), Swift, Erma, Bausch & Lomb, American Optical, Stansi, VW&R, Bushnell, Wild, Leitz, Zeiss Jena, Carl Zeiss, Olympus and Nikon. Our rates vary depending upon the type of microscope, location, overall condition and the frequency of previous servicing. There are extra labour charges for major repairs such as collimation of prisms, overhaul of coarse and fine control mechanisms and centering of light sources. If a job requires extra labour, we will advise you before any work is done.
Balance Servicing:
All makes and models of mechanical and electronic balances can be cleaned, calibrated and brought up to original manufacturers specifications by our trained technicians. Please contact us for current pricing.
